What is Recovery Ridge?
Recovery Ridge is a supervised, 12-bed, short-term treatment facility that offers a multidisciplinary team approach to treating adult males with a substance use disorder. Residents are admitted through a referral and approval process, and we offer assistance with insurance before admission.

The treatment programs at Recovery Ridge are individualized and focus on the underlying issues leading to a substance use disorder. Our team will assist with developing positive growth, coping skills and a pattern of success for their new life. In addition, our medical staff supports residents with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and psychiatric medication. Peer recovery is also an essential part of this process.
“The residents here [at Recovery Ridge] will be doing individual therapy and group therapy with the therapists, but they’ll also be doing groups with the recovery coaches. We’re going to have wellness groups where we talk about sleeping, nutrition and taking care of ourselves overall. - Medication administration at prescribed and designed times

Is Recovery Ridge the Right Option for You?
Like Recovery Ridge, SUD residential treatment facilities are great options for those looking to overcome substance use disorders. You or your loved one should consider a SUD residential treatment facility if:
- You have reoccurring issues with substance misuse.
- You need a supportive, substance-free environment.
- You have tried other treatment options (i.e., outpatient, partial hospitalization) in the past with little or no success.
- You have co-occurring mental health disorders.
However, SUD residential treatment facilities aren’t appropriate for everyone. If you are considering Recovery Ridge, you must:
- Uphold the rules of the facility.
- Not pose a threat to yourself, others or the facility.
- Not be engaged in criminal activity.
- Pass a negative urine drug screen (for all but THC) which is completed upon admission.

We accept WV Medicaid at both locations. We can also help you apply for presumptive eligibility for WV Medicaid if you meet income guidelines and criteria and have not applied within the past 12 months.
