MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

Many individuals will experience a mental health disorder during their life.  Seneca Health Services offers services to children, adolescents and adults for a wide range of disorders – including but not limited to anxiety, attention deficit disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, mood or psychotic disorders. At Seneca Health Services, we believe effective treatment is different for each individual; therefore, we personalize client care. That is why we manage each client’s case individually and provide support to develop the skills each person needs to manage their illness symptoms. Our therapists use treatment that has been proven to have results through the use of evidence-based treatment. Seneca has therapists certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and PCIT – Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, among others.

Evaluation and management of mental health disorders using medications provided by psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioners, advanced practice nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

CASE MANAGEMENT

CASE MANAGEMENT

Case managers assist clients in securing physical health care, stable housing, education or vocational training, and creating advanced directives.

Individual and group services. Talk therapy to encourage reflection, accountability, empathy and coping skills. Therapy helps clients foster personal growth, build positive peer interactions, keep commitments and follow a routine. Adding therapy to medication treatment, creates better outcomes.

ACT

Assertive Community Treatment - Comprehensive, community-based treatment for individuals with serious, persistent mental illness.  The team provides intensive treatment in the individual's own home and community.  Eligibility is determined through referral.

PEER SUPPORT

PEER SUPPORT

Peer support specialists are individuals with lived experience who can offer support to individuals who are in recovery/treatment for a mental health condition, individuals who have family that are in recovery/treatment for a mental health condition, and individuals in recovery from substance use disorder and/or a mental health condition who is a veteran, active duty military, or is a veteran/military family member.
