Minimum Requirements: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field such as psychology, social work, education or counseling and one year professional experience working with individuals with mental retardation/developmental disabilities required. Valid driver’s license, automobile and insurance required. Must obtain required Seneca and Title XIX Waiver Program training, certification and a Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB). Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills required.
Job Duties: Develop and monitor plans of intervention or instruction. Provide training in the person-specific aspects and method of a plan of intervention or instruction to care providers. Responsible for all aspects of positive behavior support services, if credentialed as Behavior Specialist.

Job Duties: Provide skill training, monitoring and supervision designed to assist an individual with developmental disabilities in achieving increased independence or maintaining current skills in activities of daily living. Provide lifting, mobilization and transportation as required. Duties and responsibilities vary according to the client/program assigned.
